Instructions for Rotating Die (RD) Key Tag / Button Machines
Use the circle cutter to cut your paper artwork to the proper size.
Cutting of paper artwork must be done on a plate glass surface in order to keep the blade sharp, and to make a clean cut ono the paper. Glass is not supplied with the machine.
When using the the cutter, hold die down in position with one hand, while pressing down with palm of your hand on the handle and rotating the handle to the right (clockwise).

The machine must be attached to a table top or secured to a board with screws.
To Make a Button:
- Place the metalic top, followed by your circular button artwork, followed by the mylar into the Left die.
- Rotate the carriage all the way clockwise (right) so that the Left die is under the punch.
- Lower the handle all the way down
- Raise the handle. The metalic top, artwork and mylar should no longer be in the Left die.
- Place the plastic ring in the Right die, followed by the metal bottom (either with or without the safety pin)
- Rotate the carriage all the way to the counter clockwise(left) so that the Right die is under the punch.
- Rasie the handle.
- Remove your finished button.
To Make a Keytag:
- Place the metalic top, followed by your circular button artwork, followed by the mylar into the Left die.
- Rotate the carriage all the way clockwise (right) so that the Left die is under the punch.
- Lower the handle all the way down
- Raise the handle. The metalic top, artwork and mylar should no longer be in the Left die.
- Place the plastic keytag in the Right die with its ring sticfking out of the slot provided on the die.
- Rotate the carriage all the way to the counter clockwise(left) so that the Right die is under the punch.
- Rasie the handle.
- Remove your finished keytag.
Excessive force is not needed to make a keytag. Applying too much pressure while pressing the handle down will result in damage to the machine.
